Building the Physiology That Prevents Disease

Prevention is not the absence of disease. It is the presence of healthy physiology.

At AthenaVita, we focus on the measurable factors that influence future cardiovascular and metabolic health, using objective data to guide decisions and track progress over time.

The result is a more intentional approach to prevention—one that seeks to improve trajectory, not simply react to disease.

HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS

Measurable physiologic targets.

Success is not defined by a single lab result, symptom score, or number on the scale.

It is defined by measurable improvements in the physiologic systems that influence long-term cardiovascular, metabolic, and menopausal health.

Three Domains. Connected.

WHAT WE MEASURE

Cardiovascular Health

We evaluate the markers most closely associated with future cardiovascular risk and monitor how they change over time.

Examples include blood pressure, ApoB, LDL-C, Lp(a), CAC, and PREVENT™ risk assessment.

Metabolic Health

We evaluate the markers most closely associated with metabolic dysfunction and track how they respond to intervention over time..

Examples include fasting glucose, hemoglobin A1c, fasting insulin, waist circumference, and body composition.

Menopause + Symptoms

We assess symptom burden alongside the physiologic changes that accompany the menopausal transition.

Examples include vasomotor symptoms, sleep quality, energy levels, and validated symptom assessments.
